Somewhere Over The Frelling Rainbow - By John Crichton

This is based off the end of the Peacekeeper Wars… ten years later. Captain Ka Dargo is found alive on Arnesk and is searching for Crichton and Moya. Moya has flown to earth through young Dargo’s wormhole access through his father’s genetic DNA.

——–

Dargo ran through the cargo hold to meet at the command center of Moya as they starburst through the Uncharted-Territories directly to Earth’s atmosphere. They recently left the previous command carrier to witness Scorpious’s new acceptance speech as the new president for the Unification of Peace Code of the galaxy. “I still think it’s frelling crazy that he’s the Commander now.” Dargo muttered. “Watch your language Dargo.” said his mother, Aryen. Aryen was up on the 9 try deck checking Moya’s lighting systems while John was in Pilot’s Den writing in his journal.

Flight of the Warriors - By Flashpoint

Way back in 1993 (when I was 17), a UK tv channel showed Battlestar Galactica: The movie. As a kid I had loved this show and so taped the movie and eagerly awaited the series. Unfortunately for me, no series followed and I was left with a need for some more.
After a few months I decided to write something of my own. I have to admit that the first few things I wrote were simply shameful rip-offs of BSG and I am glad that I let it go and let teh ideas ferment for a bit.
I started writing seriously again a few years later, just before falling in love with Babylon 5, and although I do intend to carry this novel I have not written anything for many years now. One thing I feel I must put here is that I am not a plagurist. I am being 100% honest when I say I have been writing this for years brfore the new BSG. I feel the need to mention this though, as I can see where several parallels can be drawn with some of my plot dynamics.
This is the first chapter, I hope you enjoy it. Whatever you think, please feel free to leave me some feedback and I’ll post the rest (and maybe even finish the story!!!)
